Eid Al Fitr 2021 fireworks announced

The preparation for the Eid celebration is being planned out in the UAE with the festival just around the corner. Muslims have fasted this Ramadan once again caught up with the Covid-19 strain. However, the UAE officials have so far contained the situation to allow people to celebrate the upcoming festival.

The end of Ramadan marks the day for Eid, according to the official holiday calendar in the UAE, residents will get Eid Al Fitr break from the 29th Ramadan to the 3rd of Shawaal.

If Ramadan lasts for 29 days then the residents will have a four-day break from Tuesday, May 11th to Friday, May 14. But if in case Ramadan lasts for 30 days, then Employees in the UAE will get a 5-day break starting from Tuesday, May,11, to Saturday, May 15.

In partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism-Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the Eid celebration fireworks will take place for three nights from the first day of Eid. The spectacular five-minute firework show hosted at Yas Island will set off from the Yas Bay waterfront for the first time.

The firework show will also be broadcasted on Livestream at 9 pm each night, so everyone can enjoy the show in the safety of their own homes.
